Methenolone Enanthate is the active ingredient in an injectable anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS), predominantly known within the bodybuilding world and the illicit market under the legendary trade name Primobolan Depot. It is a synthetic derivative of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). A long enanthate ester is attached to the methenolone molecule, ensuring a slow and gradual release of the active substance into the bloodstream following intramuscular administration. In the bodybuilding community, Primobolan (Methenolone Enanthate) is a highly valued substance, particularly during cutting phases (pre-contest preparation), for the following reasons: Methenolone does not convert into estrogen in the body. Consequently, users do not experience water retention, high blood pressure, or gynecomastia (the development of breast tissue in men). It significantly increases nitrogen retention in the muscles and enhances protein synthesis. This protects muscle tissue from breakdown (catabolism) during severe caloric restriction. Unlike substances such as Oxymetholone or Methandienone, it does not cause a dramatic and rapid increase in bulk, but instead yields slow, high-quality, and lean muscle gains.
